"Tartrate of Tygem" (swing 9D) forces "fresh" 9D (hechya 9D) to a hasty defeat
Background:
It's become a common rumor that swing(P)/ioiwin is, in fact, the ever-so-famous Lee Changho. In addition to English sources, some Korean sources suspect this as well. The bottom line is, whether swing(P)/ioiwin is actually Lee Changho or not, he is surely among the strongest on Tygem.
In a previous post, one of our own experts here at GoSensations.com, sol.ch, has even crowned swing(P)/ioiwin as being the "Tartrate of Tygem"!
To continue spreading the legacy of swing(P)/ioiwin, I present to you an exciting, but sadly quickly finished, game between the great "Tartrate of Tygem" and a relatively new Chinese 9D on Tygem known as hechya.
Not much is known about hechya, but we can tell from his game records that he has only been 9D since around the middle of February. He has had not a ton of success as a 9D, and in this game, he falls quickly to the power of swing(P)/ioiwin.
Starting with an interesting choice of light play around move 25, and continuing with the peep at move 67, swing(P)/ioiwin goes on to dominate the board and win the game by killing the group at m16.
The game ends pretty quickly, but it is an exciting match, nonetheless! Furthermore, the choice of sequence around move 25 by black is certainly worth studying. In any case, enjoy this fast paced and exciting game!
