After a bit of a hiatus from joonki 9d's play, today over 500 observers gathered to watch the well-known star, already known to GoSensations.com, Seo Nunwook 9p (a.k.a. "joonki").  The opponent was (Chinese amateur?) joonkimomo 9d, who seems to be playing a parody on joonki's name.

In today's game, joonki 9d decided to play the famous, albeit simple, san-ren-sei opening, which led to some active play by both sides early on.  Black put pressure on white's upper left group, which led to a ko in the local area.  In the end, white's ko threat at O11 was ignored, and joonki 9d had enough points to prevail!
