Non-Fuseki win in 3-stones handicap game

In 3 stones handi game,  Van Zeijst (4 times European Go Champion) kills the corner.

See white B15 move (is it part of joseki?) which has two purposes: a) eye shape for setup B17 and b) extend to left side.

W uses 65 moves to kill B in top left corner, and gives no 3 stones advantage to black in other 3 corners...

B15 was at the very least once a joseki move (no clue if it still is). It was played by Ishida Yoshio against Kato Masao in a qualifier game for the Honinbo challenger spot in 1971.
