IGS history: Catalin Taranu vs Alexander Dinerchtein

It's always interesting to play someone you know in person, by
using your secret accounts. I knew that "catalina" is Catalin Taranu,
but of course it was unclear for him who is "bella" - I registered
this nickname just few days before the match.
That time I was in Korea and we never played each other before.
Maybe it's not honest to play like this. What do you think?

For better and for worse, a defining characteristic of the internet is that it offers anonymity. It's entirely reasonable to play go anonymously, and could only be dishonest if one did it to obscure one's true rating -- either to sandbag, or maybe using fuseki/joseki dictionaries to try to gain an unfair advantage. Even then, why should I care if I'm sandbagged? Everyone complains that it's hard to get games against stronger players, but some also complain if they think they've been sandbagged! My rating doesn't affect my ability to play go, rather it's the reverse.
