Mon ami, as usual you fail to use the little grey cells.
Notice that the dog is not using a mouse, therefore clearly he knows the keyboard shortcuts.
I deduce that this is a case of "fumble paws".

The dog is wearing spectacles, an obvious clue in favour of the hypothesis.
On close inspection I notice that the dog is black and white. Possibly he became confused as to which side he was on?
