Ali Jabarin (OohAah) beat his first 8-dan on KGS!

8 dan on KGS is very close to professional level. I know lot of Europeans 6-dans, who is not able to stay even on KGS 6-dan level. Even Artem92, who is currently number 1 in Ukraine and in best 10 in Europe cannot reach 8d on KGS!
But sometimes Europeans are able to beat 8-dans. Here is a good game played by Ali Jabarin (Atsumi Go School teacher). I am not sure, but it seems to be his first victory against KGS 8d! Maybe he can reach this level soon!

OohAah defeated zhen, artem92, eastwisdom who are all close to 8dan. So no wonder he's 7dan and might be able to win against solid 8d on kgs in near future.

Actually kgs ranking is not the best judge of someone's real rank.. I knew someone who was European 3Dan but 2d on kgs and could not advance because of the rating system.

White is European 4d, he's not a real KGS 8d.
