Bots getting stronger. European 6d level reached!

10 years ago my friend Andrey Hmyrov (amateur 6d) set a record by winning Many Faces of Go (that time one of the strongest programs) on 36 handicap stones!
Nowadays I am not sure that he can beat the best program on even.

Few days ago program, created by Facebook team beat Juri Kuronen, EGF 6-dan - one of the strongest masters of Finland!
It is still possible to imagine 3 stones difference with pro players, but it's getting smaller and smaller.

Well, bots are still pretty far from 6d egf. This bot is 2d on kgs.
It was an accident of Namii :D.

This bot was trained with sets from pro games database, so it really can punish bad shapes and tenuki in important places. Juri Kuronen wasn't careful enough.

Time controls are now shown; people on IRC tell that might play a significant role...
