Mogo has now also beaten a professional with 6 stones
Today a bot called Mogo beat a 12-year old Li-Chen Chien 1 dan professional. In the next game though the kid made his revenge. Computers are advancing so fast. It is not fair their brains can be developed intelligently.

No offense, but why are the wins of MOGO the only thing getting put in here? MOGO plays pretty badly even now. One or two wins means nothing when the the overall record is something like 2-20. Please do not be so biased. I understand it's impressive, but I do not think exaggeration is good either. MOGO has a long way to go still.

I admit I feel a bit uneasy about computer programs getting strong at go, but fundamentally it doesn't change my enjoyment of the game.
What I think will be very interesting is when a computer program can demonstrate that its novel play is superior -- i.e., it finds new joseki, fuseki, tesuji. Then it will be more than just a curiosity.
