Japanese 9d, commander, maintains over 71.5% winning rate as 9d

Background:
There have been a lot of articles here on GoSensations.com about Chinese and Korean pros and strong amateurs.  Rumors say that the so-called "Go World" is dominated by China and Korea, sometimes (whether true or not) leaving the impression that Japan has been phased out as a go superpower.

But let's face it.  No matter what country it is, there can be strong players found within.  And another strong player that seems to be from Japan has been found!

He (or she) goes by the userid, command.  For now, you can speculate to yourself as to the origin of his userid.

In any case, command has been fairing quite well as a 9d these days.  Earlier discussion of other pros on the net has brought about players with 60% or 70% win ratios.  As of today, command's record as a 9d is a bit over 71.538%, which certainly points to his strength!

But let's not focus only on his great statistics as a 9d.  Let's take not of his strength directly by studying this game!

Last 20 Games:
command 9d: 14 - 6
langalang 9d: 9 - 11

Game Stats:
command 9d: 93 - 37 [9d] | 397 - 260
langalang 9d: 10 - 15 [9d] | 87 - 28

Ranking Points:
command 9d: 36088
langalang 9d: 35737

They used exactly the same fuseki and joseki as in Park Yeunhun vs Chang Hao game from the BC card cup.

That pattern is getting more and more popular, it seems.
