Player who can give 5 handi to 5d in simultaneous!

KGS has some invisible areas. Games between [-] or [9?] are hidden at the bottom of Active games tab. And there are some really interesting players.

This is a game from simultaneous. Sai2004 played with 5 players and gave 5 handi stones to 5d! And it was not weakest 5d(not long ago he used to be 6d).

Li Ang(Lyonweiqi[3p]) gave 5 stones to 6d(KopiPeng) he won by time but it was normal game not simultaneous.

What do you think how strong is Sai2004? Is he pro?

I've checked sai2004 at kgs archive. He played rated games with 7d and had several defeats, so hard to belive he is top pro, but he is definitely a very strong amauter or weak japanese pro.

Yeah, Fighter is right. If anybody bothered to read the little bit of conveersation that goes on between them you would realize that they're playing teaching games. Rather than whine about it... I'm going to ask for a teaching game.

I think these simuls are teaching games. And if they create their own microcosmos by only playing with each other - who cares? And why should the teacher play vs other 9ds just to prove he is a good player? I would love to see a match vs Sai2004 and another 9d but it is his choice to do so or not and not mine.

The problem is instead that sai2004 only plays the same players everytime and those players too, only play sai2004 or against each other. So they have created their own rank anchor which is horribly inflated.

Breakfast put it (suprisingly) nicely - I'd say I wouldn't be surprised if this 5d wouldn't even be able to be a dan on regular KGS.

As long as the circle around sai2004 has no interest in playing with the lesser denizens of KGS, I don't think there's much admins can do about it, short of forcefully deactivating their ranks.

B's fuseki was not good. Game is already equal after first 100 moves

kgkgkg, you're wrong. A sandbagger is somebody who intentionally plays players of a much lower level in "even" games -- presumably in order to get the warm and fuzzy feeling when he crushes them.

sai2004, on the other hand, is GIVING 5 STONES TO A FIVE DAN! Definitely not pretending to be weaker than his actual strength (unless you believe he's actually a "13d" or something.)

Pros can have distinctive styles; it's possible he avoids playing people he thinks may guess his identity because he just wants to have fun. Or whatever, who cares, just enjoy the talent displayed by an obviously superior player.

A desire for anonymity is NOT equal to "admins should do something about it."

sai2004 is a sandbagger, he never plays known players, and he is always hiding his rank.
admins should do something about it
