King of Kings (last 19) : "Strive(P)" vs. "kongm(P)"
Last 19 ? It sounds amusing, but that's it ! 18 players + another one still to come = 19. So all correct. Funny, but correct. "Strive(P)" against "kongm(P)" was like old warrior vs. young warrior and, by old warrior, I mean more experienced player. "kongm(P)" made a big surprise last round, when he eliminated "kobra". The older warrior was warned of danger and a wise warned man is 2 times stronger. "Strive(P)" approached the game in "no more surprises" mood and crushed "kongm(P)" in only 111 moves. A good GO lesson. What I like about "Strive(P)" is how much he enjoys playing this game. After this important win in an official competition, he started another game with "SeeOne", just for fun. He was neither tired nor bored. Maybe this is another lesson. However, it was a little surprise today. I thought that "rrx" (Wang Lei, 8P) was favorite against "lxlx". Not because "lxlx" is weak, but because he was not in good form lately and he made a short trip to 8D. It seems incredible for a player qualified at this stage to go down to 8D, but he has attenuating circumstances. The opponents who have pushed him back are called : "idontca1", "boss(P)", "kobra", "kingater", "attractive" or "charisma24". Anyway, he came back to 9D very quickly. In turn, "rrx" played a really miserable game and I didn't understand what was wrong with him. The third game of the day, "xg(P)" - "wulu123", was well-balanced between 2 in form and spectacular players. In the end, "xg(P)" was only 2,5 points ahead. I am sorry that such a nice player as "wulu123" must leave the competition.
