Bots getting stronger. European 6d level reached! 10 years ago my friend Andrey Hmyrov (amateur 6d) set a record by winning Many Faces of Go (that time one of the strongest programs) on 36 handicap stones! Nowadays I am not sure that he can beat the best program on even. Few days ago program, created by Facebook team beat Juri Kuronen, EGF 6-dan - one of the strongest masters of Finland! Well, bots are still pretty far from 6d egf. This bot is 2d on kgs.
It was an accident of Namii :D.

This bot was trained with sets from pro games database, so it really can punish bad shapes and tenuki in important places. Juri Kuronen wasn't careful enough.
