"poppy" on KGS. Is he Cristian Pop from Romania?


Poppy, 9-dan has an excellent score on KGS. He lost only one even game so far - to bin7674.
Lot of times I heard the version that he is Cristian Pop, 7-dan from Romania. I decided to e-mail Cristian and ask aboit it.

After one of his games he said that he had been studying go for 20 years. I doubt that any non-asian player studied go that much. So he should be some strong amateur from china or korea.
