New high dan Dinky?

Hi, this is my first post on GoSensations.

Today, we see a game between Dinky 8d and Koram 7d. Koram has been around KGS for a long time, but Dinky is relatively new. His account was registered on Febuary 11, 2009. He hasn't played many games, but until this game, he had won against 7 dans 3 times in a row.

In this game, following the relatively new joseki in the lower left, White tried to encircle Black with White 14. I think this is a bad move, it is relatively slow since Black is already alive and there are bigger points in the fuseki. Black tries to break out immediately, and the following fight through Black 37 seems to give an edge to Black since he retains the corner and his influence reduces the efficiency of White's star point in the upper left.

One fight follows another and essentially koram destroys dinky all over the board.

What is your opinion? Is Dinky an 8d or a 7d, he has fluctuated between the two ranks. Is he a new sensation or no?
