It's true that Ilya Shikshin is very good at blitz. He proved it during the recent EGC in Groningen by winning several tournaments with small time control. He also did well in Week-end tournament (beat 2 strong Koreans) and shared the 3rd place in Blitz tournament (lost his semifinal game to Jun Sangyoun 7d by 0.5 point).
Most games on KGS are blitz games and it's good for roln111! His reading is so fast and accurate and he improved his theory-knowledges a lot during his 1-year stay in Korea.
Ilya said he will not return back to Korea, which means that he will probably continue as amateur. No pressure on him anymore! And I noticed that you play much better without the pressure.
