KGS Archive : joeker vs liyue showdown

It's the first game liyue lost on KGS. Li yue is the sister of Li Ang (3p), she is chinese 6d.

Joeker was the top KGS player at the time, crushing almost every opponent, he lost a few games though but his powerful style, not willing to give way made him very popular.

Li Yue was an unknown player at the time but she played 3 times before, demonstrating a fierce style and top strength, they also were wondering whether she really was a girl or a boy in disguise.

That's why many people were very excited before the game, and I'm sure even more so during this game.
