Who is "gowithwi" 9d?

"gowithwi" is one of the strongest players ever to step foot on KGS.

In his latest (breathtaking) game he gave Cornel 7d two handicap stones and still won!

Those who watched his games were amazed and started wondering who "gowithwi" is. Even Cornel asked whether he was a top amateur or a professional.

I know the answer to that question because it was me who introduced "gowithwi" to KGS :-). Fortunately, when I asked him permission to at least share with GoSensations' readers his name, he accepted. So here it is:

    "gowithwi" is Dongfang Li, a 17 year-old boy from China. 

      I will not give away too many details about him (I don't have his permission to reveal whether or not he is pro, sorry), but I can tell you that when he was still in China he studied with many famous players, including the Chinese pro teenagers who are now at the top of the Go World. (By the way, he also studied with Qiao Zhijian, who was this year's World Amateur Go Champion, and is now 1-dan pro.)

Dongfang is truly amazing (both as a player and as a person). Please do not forget to add "gowithwi" to your Fan List on KGS!
