KGS tricks: using databases while playing

There are lot of players on KGS who use databases (Bigo, Moyogo, Smartgo, etc) during their games. Sometimes
they use it from the first move and sometimes only if they meet unknown josekis.
You may check an example here.
This game is few years old and I deleted players names. Black is 9-dan on KGS. White is 7-dan. Moves till Black 50 are almost the same with this pro game: http://www.go4go.net/v2/modules/collection/sgfview.php?id=312
Dong Yan vs Kong Jie, 2001
Conclusion: Both 7d and 9d were using databases! I cannot believe that it's possible to repeat that game naturally - there are too many unusual moves in fuseki.
Finally Black stopped coping the pro game on Black 51 and won the game easily - the difference in strength between 7d and 9d is quite big

My advice: Check the database after the game! You can find some mistakes and will have enough time to study proper variations, played by pros.

you either make the accusation and back it up or don't make it at all, otherwise you just look petty

He is 100% right about the black player using a database. (I would have proof, but I don't intend to make it public.)

I can't say anything about white, although I do agree it's unlikely to play the exact identical game up to that point.

if they are dans they can easily remember the game even if they just seen it once, they dont need that kind of database
